A West Family drag-in

With bars closing, many in Columbus are itching to get their drag show fix. Luckily the West Family has teamed up with Get out to Vote, and Lift Yourself Up Dance Party to bring a unique drive-in drag event hosted at the Valley Dale Ballroom. 

The show opens at 7 p.m. next Friday and Saturday–Aug. 7 and 8–and will feature 10 drag queens and an afterwards showing of “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar” and “The Bird Cage”.

Food trucks will be at the event, which will also be live streamed via Twitch. The goal of the event is to spread the word about extended absentee voting for the Ohio primary election, and to get more people to participate in our democracy. 

Tickets are $50 a car for standard spaces, and $100/car for premium spaces with a maximum of 6 people per vehicle. To purchase tickets, click here.
