Aug. 28, Fitness Yoga on the Square—Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy socially distanced, outdoor yoga at Easton Town Center at 8:30 a.m. 

Aug. 28-29, Columbus Black International Film Festival—There will be a mix of in-person and virtual events this year for the Columbus Black International Film Festival. It’s the fourth year of the event, but the first that will feature table reads of notable scripts. For more on the local artists who will be part of the festivities click here

Aug. 28-30, OhioHealth Capital City Virtual Half & Quarter Marathon—Although runners will not be together this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the race is anything but virtual. Participants will be completing their run, submitting their time, and even taking finish line selfies they can all share. It’s not too late to register.

Aug. 29, 100 Years of Ohio Women’s Activism—a free, virtual panel discussion on the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment moderated by Ohio University History Dept. Chair Dr. Katherine Jellison. To find out about the other panelists and register for the event, click here.

Sept. 1, Chamber Music Concert at Ohio Village—Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy a socially distant concert at Ohio Village starting at 5:30 p.m. The ProMusica brass quintet will play followed by violinist Vadim Gluzman leading the performances of a stringed quartet. They will be showcasing such favorites as Orange Blossom Special, Brahms’ Hungarian Dances, and Ashokan Farewell. $11 tickets must be purchased in advance
