DK Diner joins the igloo club
Heads up, Columbus, one of your favorite spots for donuts just leveled up for the winter.
DK Diner 1715 W. Third Ave., has added an igloo to their outdoor dining options. Known as “the bubble,” it’s available for reservation via gloria@caterersthree.com.
Gloria Sutton, business manager, said the addition is just the latest way DK Diner has been trying to adapt to pandemic challenges since March.

“We are a small diner with a big following of loyal customers, for which we are grateful,” Sutton said.
The bubble will be available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to start, for 90-minute sessions to allow thorough cleanings in between uses, Sutton said. The bubble seats up to eight people (six comfortably).
Guests can also try out DK Diner’s special small plate menu featuring fun, boozy drinks and seasonal beer on tap.
The diner is just the latest Columbus restaurant to join the igloo trend.
You can also find them at 1808 American Bistro, VASO, the Royce Columbus, and Amato’s Woodfired Pizza.
Eating safely outside in a bubble while still nice and toasty? That’s our kind of winter adventure.
