Video: College football player assaults Grove City cop

Video obtained by 10TV shows a collegiate athlete employing moves worthy of the UFC octagon on an arresting Grove City Police officer.

Michael Harris, a redshirt sophomore for the Eastern Kentucky University football program, faces a felony charge of assault and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, obstructing official business, and disorderly conduct while intoxicated following the incident with officers on Feb 10.

Officers responded to a complaint at a business on North Meadows Drive. They arrived to find Harris, who they believed to be intoxicated.

The video from the camera on a Grove City police cruiser shows Harris resisting as officers tried to restrain him. The footage then shows Harris lifting one officer completely off of the ground before placing him on his back.

Officers were finally able to cuff him.
