A picturesque day trip for fall lovers

A picturesque day trip for fall lovers

The best spots to go for selfies, family portraits, or senior pics

Leaves changing, brisk air, and pumpkins at every grocery store is proof that COVID-19 can’t cancel fall. According to scientists, this week is the best week to view all of the colors Ohio’s trees have to offer. So make the most of this time when you can get outside in the fresh air and see the explosion of colorful foliage all around.

Home to some of Mother Nature’s best work, you can search for picturesque leaves and get some awesome selfies at some unique spots right here in central Ohio.

Indian Run Falls: Follow one of the nature trail paths to an observation platform (one of many) or check out the bridge traversing the waterfalls.

Hayden Run Falls: Snap some beautiful fall photos on your way to the park’s 30-foot waterfall.

Glick Park & Overlook: Take a well-deserved break while overlooking Dublin’s man-made waterfall.

Wedgewood Hills Falls A hidden gem worth visiting. Follow the paved path to the winding walkway through the woods, and you won’t regret it.

Dublin’s Pedestrian Bridge: Built-in March and the 8th of its kind in the US, this modern beauty is the newest spot to view Dublin’s fall foliage.

Fairfield County Covered Bridges: If you find the need to get out of town, this is the place. Pass through one of 17 bridges surrounded by an abundance of trees ablaze in colors from red to orange to green.

Ohio Art Corridor: Drive through one of the world’s largest outdoor art galleries while enjoying all of the seasonal colors fall has to offer.

And in case you need a travel planner: clocking in at just 30 minutes from each other, combining a fall foliage tour of Dublin and Fairfield County would make for a fun, free, and gorgeous weekend adventure.
