New indoor sporting space brings extreme dodgeball, trampoline park and more to Polaris

What has eight hardwood volley courts, a trampoline park, a ninja course, and just recently opened at Polaris Parkway?

The answer, if you didn’t already know it, is FieldhouseUSA.

At 90,000 square feet, this new multi-purpose indoor sporting facility—built on the former Sears store footprint at 1400 Polaris Pkwy.—has something to offer just about every sports enthusiast in Columbus.

The space, which is estimated to generate 1.5 million visitors annually, features year-round space for tournament play in basketball, volleyball, flag football, soccer, and numerous other sports, and will also act as a venue for birthday parties, conferences, corporate events, youth sporting camps, and more.

And here’s where the really fun stuff comes in.

FieldhouseUSA, in addition to serving as a venue for more traditional sporting events, will also be home to the undeniably-exciting Airhouse Adventure Park.

This 30,000 square foot subsection of the larger facility will house all of the wild, wacky, and undeniably entertaining activities within the complex. Airhouse Adventure Park won’t be officially opening until later this month (although FieldhouseUSA is open). When it opens, it will offer everything from a massive indoor trampoline park, to an extreme dodgeball course, zip lines, multiple climbing elements (including a bouldering wall), and a ropes course.

And that’s not including all the incredibly fun activities you thought only happened on TV shows, such as a Battle Beam, Log Roll, ninja course (Ninja Warrior, anyone?), Aero Strike, and Wipeout, which are all activities Airhouse guests can take part in.

“Airhouse Adventure Park is wAIR your next great adventure begins. I am excited to engage this great community of Columbus, Ohio and its surrounding cities in a fun, safe, and sanitized adventure park,” said Director of Airhouse Adventure Park Operations Todd Christian in a statement. “I am confident that our beautiful Columbus location will provide more than just an indoor adventure park for everyone to enjoy year-round, but also great memories to share for years to come.”
