Gateway Film Center will reopen later this month

After a temporary closure in November due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, the Gateway Film Center will be welcoming audiences back May 27, according to a release.

“We cannot wait to be back, presenting these amazing stories, from the world’s greatest visual storytellers, with our community, ” Gateway Film Center President Chris Hamel said in a prepared statement.

The film center recently reopened for a limited number of in-person screenings late last month for awards season weekend. Once the center officially reopens later this month, screening room capacities will remain limited, but audiences will still get to enjoy the usual plethora of international titles, film festival picks, and weekly selections from repertory programming channel “From the Collection”.
