“Pour with Pride” pop-up to be held later this month
A new pop-up event designed to promote inclusivity within the bar and restaurant industry will take place from 4:30-11 p.m. June 14 at Buckeye Bourbon House, 36 E. Gay St.
Taylor Harvey, who handles spirit sales with High Bank Distillery Co., said High Bank is hosting the event because it supports building spaces for communities to gather “and show up as all of who they are.”
“We are grateful to Buckeye Bourbon House for hosting us and providing an example of what an inclusive and safe space looks like in our industry,” Harvey said. “It is a space where we celebrate diversity and difference. And it is a space where allies will rise up in solidarity against hate. Support. Accept. Respect. It’s that simple: During Pride and all year long.”
