Pins to open tomorrow at Easton

Sarah Sole

When it opens March 4, the new Pins Mechanical Co. at 4117 Worth Ave. will be the largest Pins location in Columbus, according to Social Media Manager Nick Love.

At over 38,000 square feet, the space will feature 16 duckpin bowling lanes as well as a slew of arcade games in the spirit of Rise Brands’ other outfit, 16-Bit Bar + Arcade.

While Pins’ Dublin space features Pins on one side of the building and 16-Bit on the other, the vision was to make Easton’s location more integrated.

“We really want to bring the best of both worlds together, Love said.

Pins opened its downtown location in 2016, and a year later, opened in Dublin at Bridge Park. Love said Easton had been on their radar.

“Easton has been something that we’ve thought about for a while,” he said.

The new location will include a mezzanine level that’s a covered outdoor space, with a few tables set up along with a life-sized game of Pong. Inside, the two-floor building will feature duckpin bowling on two floors, which Love said enables the location to offer private events without shutting down its regular business.

Pins will be open at Easton from 4 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Friday, and from noon to 2:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
