After more than a year, cocktail bar kicks off in-person business

Law Bird is looking to The Force to help it reopen for in-person guests today, May 4.

The 740 S. High St. cocktail bar will feature epic Star Wars cocktails, such as the “Sabine Wren, Art Attack” with Yokaichi Mugi Shochu, Choya Yuzu, Calpico, Norden Aquavit, lemon, and orange cordial. The bar will be open from Tuesday through Saturday this week by reservation only.

Co-owner Annie Williams Pierce said she is anxiously excited to welcome people back. The bar was only open for four months before the state-mandated shutdown last spring, and the bar spent another 11 months operating in carryout capacity, she said.

“We have all been living here the last couple of days,” Williams Pierce said. “It almost looks like a bar again.”
