Franklinton restaurant to reopen April 1

Starting next month, you’ll be able to sit down and enjoy dinner and a drink again at Strongwater Food and Spirits.

Marketing and Media Manager Jess Peer said the restaurant at 401 W. Town St. has been closed since late November, although the event space remained open for private events.

“It was an extremely tough decision for us to temporarily close Strongwater back in November,” Peer said. “After our first close in March of 2020, it was definitely a hard tug in an already very tender part of our hearts.”

When Strongwater reopens, guests will need reservations to sit indoors for dine-in service, Peer said. Outdoor seating will be available for those with carryout orders.

“…When we get the ball rolling a bit more, we’ll go back to full service on the patio as well,” Peer said.

For now, the restaurant team is excited to begin providing dinners and cocktails again for guests and safely enjoying each other’s company, Peer said.

“As we prepare to reopen, we’re totally blown away by the amount of love and support the community is giving to us,” she said.
