Highly-anticipated ice cream shop announces grand opening date
We typically try to avoid ice cream in the colder months, but when it’s from Little Ladies Soft Serve, we make an exception.
After launching an ice cream truck that gained a massive following, the soft serve vendors will be opening their first-ever storefront in Westerville on Nov. 19. It will be located at 673 Worthington Rd.

According to owner Lydia Chambers, the new concept will see Little Ladies’ menu expand considerably. Many formerly seasonal or limited offerings—such as the Trudy, chocolate soft serve with chocolate sprinkles, chocolate chips and Cocoa Pebbles cereal—will become permanent fixtures on the new menu. It will also features a variety of brand-new items, such as a line of floats and even dairy-free soft serve.
Since the building Chambers and her team took over was a former rolled ice cream business, she said their work renovating has been simplified.
“The bones were all there,” she said, “It was set up to be an ice cream shop, we really haven’t done that much work to the structure.”
Where things have changed, though, is in the look of the new space. According to Chambers, the bright, sprinkle-laden exterior of their eye-catching ice cream truck is something customers can expect to see more of in the new Westerville storefront.
“I’d say it’s going to be an extension of the aesthetic of our truck,” Chambers said. “We plan to just build on those colors, on that playfulness.”
