What’s more romantic than a heart-shaped pizza?

For the sixth year running, Hot Chicken Takeover and Mikey’s Late Night Slice are collaborating to raise money for the Columbus Diaper Bank with their seasonal twist on Mikey’s pizza.

Hot Mikey’s Takeover Pizza Kits are on sale now through Feb. 11 for the virtual Valentine’s Day Pizza Party at 6 p.m. Feb. 14. Late Night Slice Founder Mikey Sorboro and Hot Chicken Takeover Founder Joe DeLoss will host the stream, showing people how to make the heart-shaped pies.

Throughout the month of February three different versions of Nashville-style pizza will be available. The original hot Mikey’s Takeover pizza made with HCT Nashville Style Chicken, house-made ranch dressing and pickles on a LNS pizza will be available at all Columbus LNS locations from Feb. 13 through Feb. 21.

The Ma’s Mac edition, which debuted in 2019, will be available from Feb. 22 through Feb. 28. Like the name suggests, it’s the Nashville-style pizza with HCT Mac added.

A vegan version of Hot Mikey’s Takeover, with HCT’s “Not Chicken” (house-made seitan), will featured plant-based cheese and ranch dressing. It will be available at the 457 N. High St. location of LNS on Feb. 15, Feb. 21, and Feb. 28.

All three versions will be available as Valentine’s Day pizza kits.

According to a release, since the two powerhouses teamed up in 2016, the brands have donated over half a million diapers to the Columbus Diaper Bank. Hot Chicken Takeover and Late Night Slice will donate a diaper for every dollar spent on a slice or pie throughout the two-week fundraiser.
