New Thurman burger spot now open

Now even more people can enjoy the 12-ounce burgers that are a staple at German Village’s Thurman Cafe.
Son of Thurman is now open at 31 W. Columbus St. in Galena, according to a social media announcement; the dining room at the 5 N. Sandusky St. location in Delaware has also recently reopened. The initial Son of Thurman outfit was opened in 2013 by fourth generation Thurman Cafe owner Chris DeVol.

The new Galena location will share hours with its Delaware counterpart, opening 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
