Regional chicken and biscuit fast food chain coming to Columbus

Columbus, are you ready for more chicken?

Bojangles is headed to the Columbus area, according to a release.

A development deal with a longtime franchisee resulted in a plan to open 45 new locations over the next seven years. Included in that plan is an expansion into Columbus. A total of 15 locations are slated for the area. They would be the first in the state as well.

Founded in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Bojangles serves all-day breakfast as well as made-from-scratch biscuit breakfast sandwiches, hand-breaded, bone-in chicken, and a variety of sides. The chain has 760 restaurants in 11 states.
