After he was stolen from Columbus Humane, special-needs kitten Jimmy has been returned safe and sound

We can breathe a collective sigh of relief, Columbus: Jimmy the kitten has been returned to Columbus Humane.

According to the non-profit, Jimmy, the fourth month old “tiger” Tabby, was stolen from Columbus Humane on Dec. 4 by a pair of visitors who entered at 4:46 p.m.

The Society said that Jimmy requires daily medication, and that he has an adoptive family already lined up, making it an especially difficult situation.

Lucky, though, Jimmy was returned yesterday.

“Your tips helped us identify the people in the photos and they made the good decision to bring Jimmy back,” Columbus Humane said in a post to its social media accounts. “Jimmy is safe and resting comfortably tonight. Thank you to our friends on social media for your help.”

It’s unclear whether or not the individuals involved will face criminal charges.
