English-themed pub to close its doors at the end of the month
A Merion Village-area restaurant announced via social today that it will close effective May 31.
Glen and Clint Hall-Jones shared on Facebook that Geordie’s Restaurant is closing due to industry-wide staff shortages and changes intended for the space they occupy at 1586 S. High St.

“We have enjoyed serving the Columbus community and the many friends and [families] we’ve met through this venture,” their post reads in part. “We hope to see you again in some variation of our concept in the future.”
The owners recommended that those wishing to visit the restaurant prior to its closure make reservations.
