Ohio Investigative Unit cites Shakers for violating health orders

According to a Jan. 1 media release from the Ohio Investigative Unit, Shakers Public House, 385 Georgesville Rd., was cited for violating health orders.

Agents visited Shakers at 10:45 p.m. Dec. 31 and issued a citation for improper conduct-disorderly activity after seeing about 80 people in the bar or patio areas.

According to the release, bar staff and patrons weren’t wearing masks and were consuming alcoholic beverages. As agents spoke to the bar owner, bar staff continued to serve patrons alcoholic beverages.

A 10 p.m. curfew exists statewide in an effort to limit the COVID-19 virus’ spread.
