The Grandview Hop has officially arrived.

We mean that in the sense that the annual celebration of local makers is right around the corner–taking place on Aug. 28 and Sept. 25–but we’re also noting the impressive milestone the festival has achieved.

According to lead organizer Derek Grosso, this year’s Grandview Hop will be home to a whopping 100 different crafters, makers, artists, and artisans.

“We’re incredibly excited,” he said, noting that while last year’s hop was cancelled, they plan to more than make up for it with a well-attended and energetic 2021 fest. “We have a lot in store this year, and we’re ready to go.”

The free event–which is held on a blocked-off Grandview Avenue between 1st avenue and 5th avenue–typically sees thousands of visitors taking in the sights, checking out vendor stalls and local businesses, or chowing down on eats offered from one of the many on-site food trucks.

And it won’t cost you a dime to join in on the action this year, either.
