Ramsey’s third-place finish netted him 4,058 votes, and Redd placed 14th overall with 1,311 total votes. Emmitt Bailey from Menomonie, Wisconsin was the event’s overall winner with 9,896 votes.

The contest, which also had divisions for teens, men and women, announced the winners on Aug. 21.

And even better than an incredible mullet and some pretty cool shades, Ramsey is competing for a good cause. According to his mother, Ashley Ramsey, William has currently raised over $1,500 for the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, which provides once in a lifetime hunting anf fishing experiences for children.
