Pop-up flea market featuring antiques, art, live music and more returning to The Brass Hand

When The Brass Hand owner Heather McCloud launched Sol 614 last year, she had no idea that thousands of people would show up for her pop-up flea.

“The energy was off the charts,” she said. “People came out to support some of the most creative small businesses in our city and check out the unique house.”

Sol 614, featuring vintage goods, art, makers, and plants, is slated for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 21 at 1073 Ravine Ridge Dr. Like last year, the event will be held at McCloud’s home, the “Brass House,” a 70s time-capsule built in the style of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Admission is $5 and can be made via shopthebrasshand.com

This year’s event features nearly double the number of vendors that were at last year’s flea, as well as live performances by pop and soul outfit Honey and Blue. Food and beverages include Burrito Babe, Tofu Louie, Three Bites Bakery, Honey Cup Coffee, and Potion Match Bar.

“This year, we have opened up nearly the entire house for guests to explore,” McCloud said.
