This weekend will be a busy one for West Broad Street in the Downtown area.

Courtesy of the Marketplace at Gravity, a whole host of events are slated for the Broad St. Block Party & Market from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at apartment and condo building Gravity Columbus, from 440 to 501 W. Broad St.

Vintage and handmade goods as well as art will be featured from over 40 vendors in an event coordinated by pop-up market event creator Six Ways Markets. The market space will extend from Taft’s Brewpourium Columbus west to Gravity Columbus.

Also from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday will be a mini disco featuring Hazzard at the Disco. As night falls, ambient musician and sound healer Jesse Cale will host a 75-minute sound bath ceremony slated for 9 p.m. at Marketplace at Gravity. Tickets are $22, and attendees are encouraged to bring something to lay on during the ceremony, such as a yoga mat, pillow, or blanket, as well as a journal and a pen.

Following the Broad St. Block Party on Sunday, event team Seeded will host a LA PLAYA Carribean-themed pop-up event from 4 to 9 p.m. at Gravity Marketplace featuring local vendors, food, drinks, and music. The event, held in partnership with the Cave Bar & Lounge, is $15 to attend.
