This hilarious boy band spoof performance is coming to the Short North

Backstreet’s “Altar Boyz” are back, alright!

For fans of the boy band craze that took the world by storm in the late 90’s, a new performance coming to Columbus is just for you.

“Altar Boyz”, an irreverent and hilarious musical spoof of boy bands everywhere that includes 90 minutes of original parody songs and more, will be held at Short North Stage from Jan. 20 until Feb. 13.

Showtimes are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $39-54, with student tickets for $20. They can be purchased here.

With songs like “Girl You Make Me Wanna Wait” and “Jesus Called Me On My Cell Phone,” this former Broadway one-off is sure to be a hit for all.
