Inventive Dublin eatery permanently closes

An inventive and fast-casual Indian eatery has closed its doors for good.

Curry Up Indian Grill, which was located at 6181 Sawmill Rd., at the intersection of Sawmill Road and W. Dublin-Granville Roads, has closed.

The concept closed earlier this year. It was originally opened by Vishal Patel in October of 2016.

Curry Up offered fast-casual options similar to chains like Chipotle, where visitors could create a wrap, bowl or salad by selecting from a wide variety of proteins, vegetables and sauces.

The Dublin eatery was also known for an original menu that sought to reimagine how diners perceived Indian fare. Billed as a Indian eatery with a contemporary twist, dishes like its Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, and speciality curries including avocado and even pumpkin curry.
