A Columbus festival dedicated to mac and cheese with samples from local restaurants, live music coming this fall

Jack McLaughlin

In case you didn’t know, Columbus has its very own mac and cheese festival.

The event, now in its fifth year, is returning for 2022 this fall. The festival recently announced that this year’s event will be held on Oct. 7 at The Yard at Easton Town Center, from 4-8 p.m.

The event will feature mac and cheese samples from a variety of Columbus restaurants, in addition to live music, activities for kids and a raffle.

And while you had us at “mac and cheese,” this Columbus event is actually all for a good cause as well. The festival serves as a fundraiser for the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, and has raised more than $300,000 to date for adolescent and young adult cancer research.

Tickets, which start at $25, can be purchased here. All proceeds from the event benefit cancer research.
