According to a recent iHeart article, this Columbus bakery serves the best apple pie in Ohio

With the weather getting cooler and the leaves starting to change, we’re entering peak apple pie season. And according to a story from iHeart (the national news arm from the media company behind iHeartRadio) published on Oct. 3, one Columbus eatery makes the best apple pie in the entire state.

The story tapped Fox in the Snow’s apple crostata for the distinction.

Available seasonally from the popular Columbus bakery and cafe chain, these technically aren’t even apple pies at all, but they’re good enough that we’re willing to overlook this technicality.

“Fox in the Snow Cafe’s apple crostatas have all of the best parts of an apple pie in one pastry. They’re made from apples tossed in spices, pie dough, brown sugar, spiced butter, and topped with a delicious drizzling of salted caramel,” author Taylor Linzinmeir writes.

Fox in the Snow’s apple crostatas are available through the fall, so don’t wait too long to try one.
