DiCarlo’s Pizza is coming back to Hilliard.

The ever-popular spot for Ohio Valley-style pizza shuttered its Hilliard location earlier this year, and was considering selling the storefront, the DiCarlo family told 614Now this summer.

In a move that will likely please central Ohio pizza fans, DiCarlo’s has instead finalized a deal with Mike and Sarah Carlson, franchisees of DiCarlo’s newest location in Westerville, that will see them reopen the Hilliard storefront.

According to Mike Carlson, the Hilliard DiCarlo’s is aiming to reopen on Nov. 1. The restaurant is located at 4142 Main St.

“Sarah and I are very excited about this expansion of our family business! We are very grateful for the DiCarlo family in trusting us as a franchisee and allowing us to reopen Hilliard.  So many DiCarlo fans have come to love Hilliard over the years and we are thrilled to be reopening it,” Carlson said. “We plan to serve the same pizza everyone has come to love, we will be giving the space a refresh prior to our November 1st goal of reopening.”

The franchisees plan to install new lights and signs, and incorporate several elements from their successful Westerville pizzeria.

The Hilliard DiCarlo’s is also looking to fill out its staff. If you’re interested, email Mike and Sarah Carlson at [email protected], or call the Westerville location at 614-800-6422.
