In a unique about-face, Kona Grill–the popular restaurant chain that closed its only Columbus location in 2019–is re-reopening in central Ohio, and now we know when.

According to a Kona Grill representative, the eatery plans to open the doors of a new Columbus location in mid-January, although an exact date wasn’t offered.

The concept will be located in the exact same space that housed its original Columbus restaurant, at 4087 New Bond St., within Easton Town Center.

Currently, the nearest location of the popular restaurant chain is located in Liberty Township, Ohio. The new Bridge Park eatery,  Kona Craft Kitchen, is not affiliated with Kona Grill.
