Anticipated gourmet donut vendor opening this weekend

Rose Dough Donuts are worth the wait, and soon enough, that wait will be over.

The boutique ghost kitchen for gourmet French crullers, handmade fried brioche donuts and more is officially opening on Jan. 29. You can preorder donuts for Rose Dough’s grand opening here.

A ghost kitchen operating out of the 1400 Food Lab space at 1400 Dublin Rd., Rose Dough will be offering donut pickup from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturdays at 1400 Food Lab. Donut pre-orders will open each week at 9 a.m. on Monday, and close by 3 p.m. every Wednesday. Pre-orders for this week will end tomorrow at 3 p.m.

Owner and Upper Arlington native Katie Passo told 614now in an interview last year that the new concept plans to offer classic donut styles with an elevated twist.

“I have a passion for handmade dough, fried brioche, quality old fashioned donuts and classic crullers,” said Passo, who returned to the Columbus area after living in Chicago. “There was nothing exactly like what we wanted to do that we were finding.”

Passo originally began offering her doughnuts at a limited number of pop-ups late last year, and may eventually plan to pursue a brick and mortar space for Rose Dough Donuts.
