Since the concept first launched several years ago, many fans of the gourmet macaron-maker Mjomii have been waiting for a brick and mortar hub.

And in just a few days, they’ll get their wish.

On Sunday, Mjomii will hold a soft opening to the public, from 12-6 p.m. The new macaron spot is located at 2560 Bethel Rd.

After opening in 2018, Mjomii got its start selling macaroons at farmers markets and online. A following for the vendor grew quickly, and Mjomii announced its plan to open a brick and mortar storefront earlier this year.

The artisan spot has offered gourmet flavors such as Blackcurrant, Taro Cream and Milk & Lavender, in addition to more traditional varieties. Mjomii typically offers more than a dozen flavor options.

The macaron vendor halted operations in late September to focus on its brick and mortar storefront.
