Central Ohio Coffee Roasters opening first-ever brick and mortar coffeehouse
While Zach Leonard has been roasting coffee for the last several years as Leonard’s Coffee Roasting Co., he hasn’t had a brick and mortar spot to call home.
Until now, that is.
That’s because Leonard’s will be opening its first ever standalone storefront next month in Johnstown, Ohio. The new roastery and coffeehouse will be located at 32 S. Main St.

According to a statement posted to the roaster’s Instagram account, the new storefront will open in June, although an exact date hasn’t been announced yet.
Leonard’s Coffee Roasting Co. launched in 2020 as a small-batch roaster. currently based in Gahanna, the concept remains focused on sourcing coffee exclusively from small farms and holders. All prices are directly negotiated with farmers, and small growers are offered 50% more than fair trade pricing.
“This is coffee you can feel good about drinking,” the roastery’s website reads.
