A unique new restaurant concept featuring an original take on handheld fried chicken is coming to the Polaris area in just a few short weeks.

Chick’n Cone, a chain that offers fried chicken pieces served inside a hand-rolled waffle cone and topped with a variety of sauces, is set to open next month at 422 Polaris Pkwy., the former location of Be Fit Cafe.

According to a Chick’n Cone representative, the new Polaris eatery will hold its grand opening on Sept. 17.

The concept’s menu features chicken cones, chicken sandwiches, tenders, sides and sauces, in addition to waffle crunch shakes.

The concept is based in Bangor, PA, and currently operates nearly 30 total locations. Most of these are located in the Eastern United States, but Chick’n Cone also operates several restaurants in California, as well as restaurants in Canada and United Arab Emirates.
