Columbus-area brewery and restaurant opening its first-ever food truck
1487 Brewery has been serving up German-inspired brews and craft kitchen fare from its Plain City Brewery and Restaurant for over a year now, and it’s getting ready to take the show on the road.
For the first time ever, the popular spot is preparing to launch a brand-new food truck.
According to 1487’s Marketing & Facilities Director Britt Larkin, the truck is now complete, and is just awaiting a health code inspection. Once this takes place, an opening date will be announced.

The truck won’t be able to serve beer, but it will offer a menu featuring a variety hearty, creative sandwiches and more.
Visitors will be able to grab items such as poutine with bratwurst slices and beer cheese sauce, multiple smash burger varieties and a crispy schnitzel sandwich served on griddled sourdough with fresh veggies, garlic mayo and sweet chili mustard.
