Uptown Marysville just received a brand-new pizzeria this week, and the area will be home to another new restaurant concept soon.

According to a press release, the managing partners of Elevate Restaurant Group and Barrel & Boar Gastropubs purchased Mad Dogs & Beer, which currently operates as a gourmet hot dog restaurant and craft beer hub. The sale was made official yesterday.

Mad Dogs is located at 108 S. Main St. in Uptown Marysville, in the city’s historic National Bank building.

According to the press release, the restaurant will continue operating as Mad Dogs for the time being, although the building will eventually become a new restaurant concept. No date for when the transition to the new concept will occur, or what the new eatery will be, has been announced.

“We see a lot of potential for this new concept in Marysville,” managing partner of Elevate Restaurants and Barrel & Boar Gastropubs Stan Riley said in a press release. “Right now, this is our chance to introduce ourselves to this community, and we promise to offer high-quality food and a healthy and safe work environment for our employees.”
