Columbus-area meadery opening new tasting room this weekend

There’s some buzz in the air around Worthington.

That’s because Zen Bee Meadery is ready to launch a brand new tasting room and production facility in the area.

The meadery’s new storefront, which is located at 480 E. Wilson Bridge St., will hold a soft opening on June 10 and 11 from 4-8 p.m.

While Zen Bee noted they’re still working to build out the rest of their new tasting room, the public is invited to sample house-made mead on tap and in bottles. There will be limited flavors on draft, but bottles will be on sale.

One of very few commercial mead producers in Central Ohio, Zen Bee was originally located in Columbus, at a location that was just north of its new home. Approximately 700 square feet of the new 2,000 square foot space will be used by the meadery’s production facility, with the rest being dedicated to its new tasting room.
