Jack McLaughlin

This weekend marked the end of an era.

On Sept. 7, the longtime Columbus bar, grill and nightlife spot Rosie O’Grady’s officially closed its doors after operating for more than three decades.

The bar and eatery was located at 2411 Morse Rd. on the city’s far North Side.

“Rosie O’Grady’s is closed. Our deepest gratitude to all our customers for 31 years of patronage,” a statement posted to Rosie O’Grady’s Facebook page reads.

A former employee of the bar and grill confirmed the closure with 614now as well.

If you’re one of the many North Side regulars of the bar, you still have a chance to grab a piece of the long-serving nightlife spot. Rosie O’Grady’s will be hosting a public auction to liquidate the rest of the bar’s possessions on Sept. 11 at 1 p.m.
