Destination Donuts opening first-ever standalone storefront today

After waiting since last fall, we’ve finally arrived at our destination.

Our Destination Donuts, that is.

That’s because the hotly-anticipated Clintonville donut spot Destination Donuts has finally shared its official grand opening date. And, wouldn’t you know it, that date is today. In a surprise move, the eatery announced the opening yesterday evening.

Destination Donuts’ new location, which is the concept’s first-ever standalone storefront, is located at 3519 N. High St. in Clintonville.

The hugely-popular donut bakery formerly occupied the North Market Downtown, before announcing last September that it would move into the new Clintonville location.

“We have been looking for a brick and mortar for a couple of years now and when this opportunity presented itself we felt it was too good to pass up,” owner Heather Morris told 614Now in an interview about the Clintonville storefront last fall. “We are elated to be moving to a bigger space. We have an opportunity to potentially expand our menu offerings, as well as offer catering which was not an option previously due to space constraints.”

The new location is 975 square feet, nearly twice the size of Morris’ space in the North Market.
