Columbus has a brand new option for fried chicken, and it’s an eatery that’s popular at the national level.

Raise the Roost Chicken & Biscuits has officially opened its first Ohio restaurant. The eatery is located at 2381 US Highway 23 N. in Delaware.

The new Raise the Roost building is connected to a Delaware Speedway gas station, which is the case for all of the eatery’s locations. The restaurant chain is owned by 7-Eleven. The new Central Ohio eatery still boasts a sizable interior at 4,600 square feet, with seating for dine-in customers.

“We’re excited to unveil Ohio’s first Laredo Taco Company [another 7-Eleven owned concept that recently opened in Avon] and Raise the Roost restaurants – the first of many to come in the Midwest,” said Brad Williams, 7-Eleven Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations and Restaurants in a press release. “These locations will continue to provide local customers with the convenience they expect from Speedway, plus great restaurant-quality dining options all in one single stop.”

The new Delaware restaurant offers chicken sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, chicken tenders, wings, biscuits and more.
