Hawaiian-style poke restaurant coming to North Market Bridge Park

On the heels of Pablo’s Havana Cafe signing on at North Market Bridge Park last month, another new concept has announced that it will be joining the popular Dublin food hall as well.

Hai Poké, the popular Short North spot, will open its second location within North Market Bridge Park later this year.

The eatery will move into the vendor space between Dos Hermanos and Gallo’s Pizza, along the market’s west aisle. Construction is slated to begin in the next several weeks, and the concept is expected to open this winter.

“It has always been in my and Hai Poké’s vision to be a part of the North Market and join our cuisine with that family that brings so much delicious and rich food to Columbus. Not to mention, has such historic roots in the food scene that makes up our city,” owner Nile Woodson said in a press release. “We’re also particularly excited to reach a new area of Columbus that is so fresh and vibrant, just like our cuisine!”

Hai Poké, which started as a pop-up at Oddfellow’s Liquor Bar in 2015, opened a food truck shortly after, before launching its Short North restaurant in 2017.

“I’ve known these guys from their earliest of days. I am so glad we were able to find a home for them in North Market. I’m a big fan of their food and their drive,” Rick Harrison Wolfe, Executive Director and CEO of the North Market in a press release.
