We’re getting closer to a whole lot more Jackie O’s on Fourth.

The iconic Athens-based craft brewery provided an update on the progress of the renovations currently underway that will more than double the size of the brand’s Columbus space, as well as add room for a brand-new kitchen, event space, patio and retail store.

“As construction moves along in Columbus, we’re happy to announce that Jackie O’s On Fourth is slated to open in mid November,” a statement posted to the brewery’s Facebook page reads. “This space will have all your favorite Jackie O’s on draft and also feature specialty small-batch beers.”

Jackie O’s on Fourth is located at 171 N. 4th St.

After opening in 2020, the 4th Street taproom served largely as a carryout spot due to COVID limitations. The renovations, which began in February, will add 5,000 square feet to the location, which currently stands at 4,500 square feet. The new space will provide room for an on-site kitchen, a retail store, and a second-floor event space.

The statement noted that the new patio space will not be available for use until spring of 2023, however.

Jackie O’s on Fourth remains open for carryout business throughout construction.
