Popular restaurant broken into; cash register ripped out and stolen

If you drive by one of your favorite spots for Asian cuisine and see the door boarded up, don’t worry – Wild Ginger is still open.

The popular restaurant at 1726 Hilliard Rome Rd. was burglarized on the night of January 10th. Someone broke into the restaurant by busting through the glass of their doors after work hours.

A manager told 614Now that the perpetrator ripped out the register and took off with it. However, there were only quarters, nickels, and dimes in it. They didn’t steal anything else, not even the bottles of alcohol behind the register.

Wild Ginger is still open and operating! Even though not a lot of money was taken, the damage is extensive, and they appreciate your support, whether that’s dining in or ordering some General Tso’s or sushi for takeout! There are 4 locations around Central Ohio to visit: one in Plain City, Lancaster, Polaris, and this Hilliard location.
