Popular restaurant & tavern abruptly closes a location

A local tavern known for their America-themed decor and menu items like the Bill of Rights burger abruptly closed.

According to employees, Liberty Tavern in Powell, located at 50 S. Liberty St., closed on New Year’s Eve. There was no statement posted on social media, and 614Now has received no comment after requesting one from Orange Umbrella Restaurants, the company behind Liberty Tavern.
