New all-you-can-eat BBQ & Hotpot restaurant opens today

Hotpot is, well, hot lately, with all-you-can-eat options popping up all over the city.

And starting today, there’s a new option.

Meetpot BBQ & Hotpot is holding their soft opening today, January 9th, showcasing the new restaurant at 110 Hutchinson Ave.

The new restaurant promises an “interactive and memorable dining experience…to bring people together over delicious food and create lasting memories.”

If you’re new to hotpot, it’s a popular way of dining that involves a pot of simmering broth cooked at the built in stoves in the middle of your table. You select your broth, then pick which meat, seafood, and vegetables you’d like. You then dip or pour the ingredients into the hot broth, and cook them to your own liking. It’s really fun.

If broth and soup aren’t your thing, the Korean BBQ option allows you to grill your meat and veggies right on your table too, without having to boil them in broth. You get as much as you want.

Meetpot is open Sunday through Thursday from 12pm-10:30pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 11:30pm. They offer a weekday lunch special, where kids up to 6 years old eat free, kids 7-10 eat for $8.99, and adults for $19.99. Their dinner costs $13.99 for kids 7-10, and $29.99 for adults.

If you want to check out their menu, here it is!
