Creators of Otherworld launching immersive carnival-inspired gaming concept

The creators of Otherworld are bringing a unique new gaming experience to Columbus.

Gameground, an immersive gaming experience that appears to feature a number of carnival-style games in a surreal, visually-striking setting, is set to open soon.

The new concept is located at 5819 Chantry Dr., the same address as Otherworld. It’s currently unclear whether it will share space with the popular immersive art museum, or if it will have its own.

According to its website, Gameground will offer “experiential art games,” with patrons shooting at alien spacecraft on the ceiling, playing a skeeball-style game into the mouth of a massive (and pretty creepy) clown face, interacting with life-sized marionettes with glowing eyes and more.

You can catch a sneak peek by checking out a preview video of the concept posted to their social media accounts.
