Longstanding Central Ohio pizzeria reopens today

And just like, Hornets Nest pizza is once again open for business.

The longstanding family-owned pizzeria closed on Dec. 18 of last year after it had served the Pataskala community for nearly two decades. It first opened in January of 2004.

Less than two months later, on Feb. 15, Hornets Nest announced it would reopen under new ownership, although it didn’t offer an opening date at the time.

In a statement posted to its Facebook account yesterday, the pizzeria surprised Central Ohio residents by informing them that Hornets Nest Pizza will officially reopen for business today.

The pizzeria’s new hours are Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Hornets Nest Pizza will be closed on Sunday.

The pizzeria is located at 6414 Summit Rd. SW in Pataskala.
