Delivery bike stolen from Jennings Java
The popular Columbus coffee roaster Jennings Java made a name for itself during the peak of COVID-19 by offering bicycle-delivery coffee to Columbus residents.
This week, however, one of its regular delivery bicycles was stolen.
“We keep our bikes in front of our shop and on Tuesday April 26 around 4 p.m. [co-founder Daniel Jennings] walked out to his truck and noticed one of the bikes was unhooked from our coffee trailer and gone,” said co-founder A.J. Kazmierczak.

The bike that was stolen, an orange Trek Checkpoint, was referred to as a “daily driver” by Jennings Java, and was used regularly for deliveries in German and Merrion Village.
“Our bicycle delivery is very near and dear to our heart. We started the delivery at the height of the pandemic to try and bring a little bit of joy to the neighborhood in the form of fresh local coffee during some dark times,” Kazmierczak said.
The Columbus coffee roasters are regularly checking Facebook Marketplace, local bike shops and pawn shops hoping to catch the stolen bike.
Jennings Java encourages anyone with information about the bike to contact Columbus Police, message them on Instagram, or email the company at danielj@jenningsjava.com.
