Milkshake bar chain of “Shark Tank” fame opening first Columbus location this week

The Yard Milkshake Bar is finally ready to open its first-ever Columbus storefront.

The Alabama-based chain, which first opened in 2017 and was featured on the hit show “Shark Tank” in 2019, announced it will hold the official grand opening event for its Columbus location this weekend. It will be held April 22-24.

The Yard Milkshake Bar is located at 1055 N. High St. in the Short North.

A ribbon cutting for The Yard will take place at 3:30 p.m. on April 22. Guests will be able to indulge in the concept’s wide variety of milkshakes, including The Buckeye, which is only available at its Columbus location.

The Yard also offers a variety of sundaes, as well as gluten-free and vegan ice cream options.

The concept’s Columbus store is The Yard Milkshake Bar’s only location in the Midwest.
