Multiple local Krogers opening new food halls with national brands like Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, Fuku Fried Chicken, more

Your weekly trip to the grocery store is about to be a whole lot more exciting.

That’s because this fall, Kroger is are partnering with Kitchen United to open three Mix Food Hall locations inside three local Kroger stores this year.

The new food halls will open inside the Kroger stores at 3417 N. High St. in Clintonville, 7625 Sawmill Rd. in Dublin and 300 S. Hamilton Rd. in Gahanna. An exact opening date hasn’t been provided, but a press release said all three plan to open this fall.

The new Columbus food halls—all three will be takeout and delivery only—will feature a variety of popular national restaurant brands, many of which are not currently available in Columbus. Here’s a list of what each location will offer.

Gahanna: Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, Genghis Grill, Wow-Bao, Nekter Juice Bar, Fuku Fried Chicken, Saladworks

Each of the Columbus-area Mix Food Hall locations will come with a unique new twist as well: Diners will be able to mix and match items from different restaurants into a single order.

“Kitchen United is proud to open its first Mix Food Hall in the Columbus area,” said Kitchen United Chief Executive Officer Michael Montagano in a press release. “Families and groups who can’t agree on what to have for lunch or dinner will love the ability to order different foods from different restaurants, all in one order.”

The new food halls will be the first three Ohio locations, with 17 total nationwide.
