National burger chain planning first Clintonville location

Five Guys is looking to add an additional Central Ohio restaurant, this time in the heart of Cltinvonville. 

The eatery would be located at 3655 N. High St., as one of three tenants in the former home of Chase Bank. 

Most recently, the Clintonville Area Commission unanimously approved several variances from Five Guys related to the new High Street eatery in a Dec. 1 meeting.

The eatery plans to reduce on-site parking spots from 61 to 40. It also hopes to add a 527 square-foot patio to the property. A Five Guys representative at the Dec. 1 meeting noted the parking reduction stems from the eatery offering a more fast-casual style of food, with many patrons opting for carry-out versus eating inside.

Currently, Five Guys operates multiple Columbus-area locations. This would be their first in Clintonville.
