National fried chicken waffle cone chain is opening in Columbus

Sure, you’ve heard of fried chicken and waffles. But how about fried chicken in a waffle cone?

That’s exactly what an exciting new eatery coming to the Polaris area will specialize in. Say hello to Chick’nCone.

The unique new eatery is located at 422 Polaris Pkwy. in Westerville. While Chick’nCone hasn’t listed an official opening date yet, it’s expected to open soon, according to multiple social media posts.

The eatery offers a concise menu featuring chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, chicken cones and fries. The cones are made using fried chicken pieces coated in a variety of different sauces and served inside a hand-rolled waffle cone.

Chick’nCone is based in Bangor, Pennsylvania. The fast-growing national chain operates locations in 12 different states, and even has restaurants in Canada and UAE. There is one other Chick’nCone eatery in Ohio–located in the greater Cincinnati area–which will hold its grand opening this month.
